House in Abiko

Outline
Three small buildings are placed at equal intervals on a site that is surrounded by a lumber processing plant, a materials yard, a garage and office of a landscaping company, and an old one-story house. The library building, dining room building, and bedroom building are connected by a garden in the gap between them, creating a sense of distance that allows the residents to recognize each other even though they are far apart.
