Outline: The building is located on a sloping site with natural forest in Sapporo City, and a gangi (goose-wood) on the south side creates an intermediate area between the interior and the exterior. The sloping concrete ceiling acts as a reflector, and the trees on the north side spread green light into the room. The room temperature is maintained at 22 to 24 degrees Celsius throughout the year by the radiant cooling system using the cold storage system.
