House in Ibara
Kazunori Fujimoto Architect & Associates
- Outline
- The site is located in a mountainous area with abundant nature. The two volumes, one private with box culverts and the other public with glass walls, create spaces of different quality by changing the floor level, taking advantage of the openness and the slope of the site. In order to connect the rich greenery and the interior more ambiguously, the stile and rail dimensions of the opening sashes are made smaller to reduce the sense of presence.
