A House in Higashisumiyoshi
Shigenori Uoya Architects and Associates
- Outline
- We solved the problems of securing privacy from the condominium on the south side and maintaining the same number of rooms and traffic lines as the house before the reconstruction by creating deep eaves and nesting the Japanese-style room inside the first floor. In addition, an 11.8m wall-less opening from the Japanese-style room to the garden is realized, and light falls from the high side of the second floor into the atrium.
