- The house is built on a flagpole site with neighboring houses close by on all sides. The exterior and interior are gently connected through a courtyard and two terraces on the south side of the site. The use of concrete, painted cedar boards, steel, glass, and other materials on the exterior visually accentuates the boundaries.
