House at Ueda

Outline
The site is located in a rural area that is expected to be converted into residential land in the future. In order to preserve the pear and peach trees in the former orchard, the building is placed on the northern half of the site, so that the dining room, terrace and garden can be used as one. A stairwell leads from the dining room to the high windows of the tower building.
