House in Tsukidate

Outline
This is a curved house with a large roof of 6,902mm in height for a family that runs a cattle farm. Sugi (Japanese cedar) timber from the estate forest and existing main building timbers are used for the main pillars and shed beams. The living/dining room with a two-story atrium has a large opening that opens onto the garden via a wooden deck.
