House in Seko

Outline
This house has a large gabled roof with low eaves height to fit in with the landscape of Ono-cho, Ibi-gun. The plan is divided into three sections, with the earthen floor and the upper part of the floor divided into two sections, so that the roof structure can be varied. The rafters are exposed on the southern half of the wing, while the northern half is covered with large cross-sectional beams, painted white. In order to maintain a balance with the large space and to make both sides stand out, the details were considered without using detailed expressions, such as thick wooden frames, pillars and large furniture.
