reclining house

Outline
This is an extension to a wooden house which is structurally unqualified. The house is built on a long north-south site with a frontage of about 5m between two buildings. The plan is extended to the north and south, and the cross-section is made into a skip floor, making the best use of the gap of half a floor to create a family room with a ceiling height and depth connected to the roof balcony. The structural core wall made of acacia wood runs from top to bottom, creating a vertical connection.
