House in Fujisawa

Outline
The first floor is a RC wall structure, and the second floor is a mixed structure of conventional wooden construction. The ground level of the site was dug down, and the first floor, which is semi-basement, was enclosed with glass to create an open and calm LDK space. A variety of materials were used to create a warm and inviting space, from the red cedar on the second floor to the Asian Santa Maria flooring on the first floor, cherry ceiling, and black cherry kitchen top panel.
