Horizon House
Mutsue Hayakusa /Cell Space Architects
- Outline
- The site is long to the east and west, and is elevated above the road, so it is easy to maintain privacy. In response to the request for a bright and open house, the building is orthodoxly arranged so that the necessary rooms face south, and a lawn garden spreads out around the building. The rhythm of the horizontal and vertical lines of the structure responds to the verticality of the surrounding larch forest.
