House of The Downcast

Outline
The "Dori-Doma" and the narrow lattices of old fittings softly separate the living space from the practice space. The large roof of the lower part of the building is independent of the walls and lets in light, and the "shape with memory" of the narrow lattices, clapboards, and deep eaves creates a lingering impression in daily life.
