Outline
Newly constructed buildings on the Mejiro Campus of Japan Women's University: the 120th Anniversary Building, which houses research laboratories, classrooms and the Learning Commons, and the Kyosai Building, which houses the cafeteria and student residence spaces. The photo shows the 120th Anniversary Building from the west. The building is designed in the shape of a figure of "Ro" surrounding a courtyard. The upper part of the building has a vaulted roof like that of the library (Japan Women's University Library, this journal, 1905).
