JAPAN OSAKA 7 DATA CENTER

Outline
Hyper-modular data center with a total IT load (power capacity for IT facilities) of 36 MW in Osaka Prefecture. In consideration of the residential scale of the neighborhood, a two-story low-rise building with 45-mm wide vertical louvers and sashes was adopted. 3 MW per module (the basic unit of the lease contract), modular design with the same building plan and facility system, and a modular design with the same building plan and facility system repeated, were used to improve design efficiency. In addition, the lead time for on-demand construction (server room implementation work to be done after the end user has been determined) was minimized (shortened by a maximum of six months) by staggering the construction period, and operations and construction were conducted in parallel to keep pace with the rapidly changing data center demand.
