- New construction of Nikken Sekkei Hokkaido Branch Office. Abies sachalinensis from Hokkaido was used for the structure, interior and exterior finishes, and fixtures. The west facade is entirely glazed, with a double skin to reduce the external load and a solar chimney to provide natural ventilation in the middle of the year. The walls on all sides except the west side have no openings and are insulated externally.
