IWAMI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

SUSUMU UNO＋YASUHARU RACHI / CAN

Outline: We designed a junior high school based on a subject center system in which students move from one classroom to another for each subject. The site was required to be isolated from existing school buildings, collapsed old trees, landslides, and neighboring residences, so the highly related rooms on both the upper and lower floors were organized into four clusters, and a zigzag school building layout was derived.
