Boundary Window
Shingo Masuda + Katsuhisa Otsubo
- Outline
- Conversion of a two-story RC apartment building into a house studio and weekend residence. A single large "window" covering the entire building at a distance of 200mm from the wall was designed not only to improve the daylight inside, but also as a boundary surface that defines the quality of the entire place by gently changing the relationship between the room and the garden.
