House in Rokko

Outline
A private space in the shape of a house is placed on top of a semi-public, all-glass earthen floor, with an awareness of the surrounding cityscape. The weight of each component was reduced to less than 100 kg to accommodate the human labor required for the construction. The house is not dominated by the view, but is an equal residence to the landscape, while enjoying the excellent view.
