Pet Architecture Guide Book
Tokyo Institute of Technorogy Tsukamoto Architectural Lab & Atelier Bow-Wow
- Outline
- By using the format of a guidebook, it is intended to depict the reality of Tokyo as it is, suspending value judgments of beauty and ugliness. The "Made in Tokyo" (left) focuses on "bad architecture" that lacks consistency of use and structure due to the immediate response to economic efficiency, while the "Pet Architecture" guidebook (below) focuses on stores and shacks built on narrow lots created by road widening and other cheap construction methods.
