Nagoya-C-Office Building
Katsuya Fukushima+ Hiroko Tominaga
- Outline
- This showroom and office challenged the new possibilities of wood construction. The roof of the office, which has a large area, has a curved surface created by a semi-self-anchoring suspension structure with pre-stressed small section lumber. The frame structure with metal joints and stacked wood walls also take advantage of the characteristics of lumber handled by Chugoku Lumber, which is less prone to deformation.
