Hedmark Museum
Sverre Fehn
- Outline
- This museum was built on the remains of a medieval fortress. The concrete ramp and wooden roof were newly constructed without modifying the remains. The tension between the materiality of the remains, which can be viewed from various perspectives while looking at the exhibits, and the modern wood and concrete is the same as that of the extension (2005) by the same designer.
