- The wedding monument, commissioned by Archduke Ludwig of Hesse and located in the artists' village of Darmstadt, has a unique shape with five arches, covered by red brick exterior walls and a copper shingle roof. The bands of small windows around the corners of the building and the blue and gold mosaic sundial on the exterior wall are impressive.
