Outline: A kindergarten in a residential area was reconstructed into an accredited children's kindergarten. The roof extends 1,500 to 2,000 mm above the ground to keep rain out, and the terrace facing the school yard is used as a corridor to each room. At the end of the terrace, a 210mm step was added to allow the children to sit and look out over the entire yard.
