NISHIURA STATION WAITING AREA

NONAKA MINA+OTSUKI NAKO+IIJIMA AYUMI　GAMAGORI CITY　YASUI HIDEO ATLIER　ITOTO ARCHITECTS

Outline: This is a plan for a new waiting area at the former site of the 73-year-old Nishinoura Station Building of the Meitetsu Gamagori Line, which was selected as the best proposal in the "Gamagoori Public Architecture Student Challenge Competition 2023" (jury chairman: Seisho Furuya). The new waiting area is a continuous structure with double climbing beams, which are based on the columns of the old platform.
