- This wooden facility was planned for a plaza in the center of the Nihon University Engineering Campus (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture). Timbers for the structure and fixtures were procured and processed in cooperation with the local forestry and lumber industry. The undulating green roof supported by climbing beams made of small-diameter timbers is watered with groundwater, which is pumped into the eaves of the roof to feed a biotope on the ground surface.
