- A project to build a new rental house and renovate the surrounding site in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. A living environment that incorporates diverse ecosystems was planned. The entrance is a dirt floor, taking advantage of the north-south orientation of the building. The ground was paved with porous materials such as crushed stone and bamboo charcoal, and organic materials and woodchips were laid on top to increase permeability and make the ground "microbial pavement" that is easy for microorganisms to live in.
