SHINGO MASUDA+KATSUHISA OTSUBO ARCHITECTS

Outline: It was built on the occasion of the Bruges Triennale 2024. The designer searched for a site in the city with the theme "Space of Possibility" and selected a park (St. John's Hospital Park) facing the building of the Brugge Heritage Office. The structure is built to shelter existing trees, including some small ones, and is composed of a series of gently divided areas, with large, medium, and small cylinders cut in a trumpet shape starting at the center of three interconnected circles, the larger the circle, the lower the end of the cylinder.
