Outline: This is a plan for an elementary and junior high school in a new town, which was created on the site of the former athletes' village for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The classrooms and common spaces, called "houses," are staggered in an L-shape, and "gardens" (front and courtyards) are provided to promote natural lighting and ventilation.
