HASEKO REFORM

Outline: This is a housing complex renovated from a corporate housing complex completed in 1990. Thirteen of the 36 units were designated as experimental units to be tested while the residents live in them under the theme of the future of living. Metal furring strips were installed on the exterior walls over the existing tiles, and wooden siding was installed after some exterior insulation was applied. Solar panels were also incorporated. In the lower left photo, the former driveway was turned into an indoor entrance.
