A base facility for community development built in the townscape around Sakura Hachiman Shrine in Kunitachi, Oita Prefecture. 105mm square cedar pillars, cedar braces, and 105 x 150-210mm cedar beams connect the newly built (Challenge Shop) wing with the renovated (Telework) wing, a 120 year old private house, via a half-open walkway.
