- In Akita Prefecture, which has led the introduction of offshore wind power in recent years, a project team was formed among businesses from different industries, including architects, to link the introduction of renewable energy to local community development. TENOHA Noshiro revitalized the former Tokiwa Elementary and Junior High School building, which was to be closed by 2020 due to the declining birthrate, as a place for regional exchange and industrial support.
