The Kubota Global Technology Research Center is a facility that consolidates the company's research bases scattered throughout Japan in the bay area of Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. The facility consists of 82 buildings on a 346,000 m2 site. Approximately 3,000 people work in the design research building. In the vestibule at the approach to the design and research building, a rain garden has been constructed to purify and reuse rainwater that falls on the roof.
