ATSUTA JINGU "TREASURE HALL OF SWORDS KUSANAGIKAN"

A public facility for displaying swords owned by Atsuta Jingu shrine. the design avoids cutting down existing trees in the precincts where ancient vegetation and giant trees still remain. The sword room, with its curved beams in a single-person arrangement, is an exhibition space with double-layered glass windows facing north, mirroring the trees on the shrine grounds and allowing indirect outside light into the room.
