- Originally, the project was planned in the central city area along the river, but due to the damage caused by the east japan typhoon in 2019, it was moved to the current site on higher ground. the plan was changed from the previous steel-frame structure to a pure wooden structure that makes extensive use of local timber such as cedar and cypress from the yamizo mountain range.
