- A 44-year-old, two-story lodging house owned by tokyo metro (tokyo metro) with land and buildings was renovated into a five-unit apartment complex. this is tokyo metro's first renovation project. taking advantage of the existing structure, which had a mixture of rooms of various sizes, each of the five units was planned in a different plan. the units were designed to have both private and shared space by combining rooms that can be used as offices, galleries, etc. with the living rooms.
