- A sake brewing company in fukui prefecture has received a subsidy from the ministry of economy, trade and industry and permission to convert agricultural land for the purpose of regional development, and has begun development of a tourist facility based on the theme of fermentation. using approximately 43,000 m2 of terraced rice paddies, the company plans to build a complex facility with a brewery, sales store, and restaurant for sparkling sake, as well as an underground brewery.
