TOMIOKA WAREHOUSE

Warehouse no. 1 (completed c. 1901), constructed of english brick, and no. 2 (completed c. 1923), constructed of oya stone masonry. this project is to renovate the tomioka warehouse, which was established in the early 1900s adjacent to tomioka city hall (designed by kengo kuma & associates), and to reorganize the flow line from jyoshu-tomioka station to the tomioka silk mill.
