- The back approach and garden of the ueno toshogu shrine, an important cultural property, were planned, and a shinto shrine and a quiet mind station were newly built there. the roof structure of the shrine's hall of offerings follows the boundary-keeping style of the latticework of the double latticework. the roof structure of the shizushinsho is made of ginkgo trees that had to be cut down in the shrine grounds, and the small-diameter timbers are arranged in a conoidal curved shape.
