- Hiroppa" is a park-like plaza open to the community and a store planned by maruhiro, a local company dealing in ceramics. the pergola-like space was constructed by simply placing, aligning, sandwiching, and bolting together 45mm wide structural members. the "home" is a renovated 86-year-old japanese house adjacent to hiroppa. it is intended to be used as an office and meeting room for the client, maruhiro, as well as a store and showroom.
