- Sumitomo forestry home tech's renovation project of old houses and old private homes. in this project, we renovated an 80-year-old shorin-an (pine forest hermitage) within the precincts of ninna-ji temple in kyoto city into an accommodation facility. this presentation will introduce our unique construction methods and reinforcement methods for earthquake resistance and vibration control to make the most of the existing conditions of the old house and minka.
