Outline: Based on a regional cooperation agreement between shiojiri city and takenaka corporation, this urban development project utilizes a group of old private houses in narai-juku, which has been designated as an important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings. the project aims to utilize historical buildings and local resources by renovating two old private houses along the old nakasendo road into a small-scale complex.
