The campus of Nagano Prefectural University, which opened in April 2018 with the aim of becoming a "hub of knowledge" for regional innovation and global communication. The campus consists of the Miwa Campus, which has a variety of common spaces, and the Gotomachi Campus, a dormitory located in the center of Nagano City. The roofs are arranged at various angles to create a skyline that is integrated with the mountains in the background.
