TOKYO MIZUMACHI SUMIDA RIVER WALK

Outline
Sumida River Walk is a pedestrian bridge attached to the Sumida River Bridge, a railway bridge between Asakusa Station and Tokyo Sky Tree Station on the Tobu Railway. A promenade crossing the Sumida River was designed to enhance the circulation of the surrounding area. Tokyo Mizumachi, a commercial facility connected to Sumida River Walk, is located under the elevated bridge along Sumida Park (lower right). The waterfront terrace, which was created in conjunction with the earthquake-resistant construction of the seawall of the Kita-Juma River (center left), and the redeveloped Sumida Park are combined to create a lively atmosphere.
