SHINPUHKAN

Outline
The Kyoto Central Telephone Station, designed by Tetsuro Yoshida in 1926, was renovated by NTT Facilities and Richard Rodgers Partnership Japan in January 2001 and opened as the "Shinpukan" (0103), but was closed in 2016. The plan is to preserve and expand part of the building, which was closed in 2016, and turn it into a commercial, hotel and other facilities.
