APARTMENT H

Outline
Southeast exterior view. The building is a renovation of a wooden apartment building in the suburbs of Tokyo. 20 units have been reduced to 10 units, and the private area has been expanded in plan and section. All the rooms on the first floor have a concrete-faced earthen floor, and a part of the floor is set at GL+895mm to match the existing first floor level. The new staircases in each room are also expected to serve as structural reinforcement.
