JINING ART MUSEUM

Outline
There is a plan to build a new city on land about 20 minutes by car from the center of Jining, and this project was selected in an international competition to propose a master plan for the cultural facilities and site to be built there (2014). Under a roof of approximately 14,000m2, about half of the building functions as a museum, while the rest is an external space connected to the park. The park landscape and paths were designed by Nishizawa Ryue Architects, and a café and pergola are planned within the site. An underground parking lot is located under the hill of the bridge approached from the north.
