KOTOBUKICHO, YOKOHAMA-SHI HEALTH WELFARE INTERCHANGE CENTER MUNICIPAL HOUSING KOTOBUKICHO SKY APARTMENT HOUSE
KOIZUMI ATELIER
- Outline
- This project is a reconstruction of the Kotobuki-cho General Labor Welfare Hall, which was completed in 1974, and consists of the Health and Welfare Exchange Center on the first and second floors and municipal housing on the upper floors. The first and second floors are a health and welfare exchange center, and the upper floors are municipal housing. Facing the north plaza is a space under the eaves named "Machi no Ennwa," which is an open space. In the Kotobuki-cho district, many simple lodging houses have been built, and the people who live there go out into the city. While maintaining the dense community that this area originally had, we aim to create a place that can be used as a base for the transmission of new welfare services, such as employment support and nursing care prevention support nurtured by this network, to people outside the area.
