- The site is located within a 10-minute bicycle ride of four universities, and the road in front of the site is a commuting route for Kyoto University of Art and Design students. The road in front of the house is a commuting route for Kyoto University of Art and Design students. On the left is a share house with a coffee shop designed by another architect. By extending the existing garden to the entire street frontage, a "garden" open to the city was created. Between the two buildings is a "yard," and the shared interior spaces at the intersection of the "garden" and the "yard" are a "hall" and a "terrace," which are wide open in the direction of opening and depth.
