In order to maintain the appearance of the existing building, which was completed in 1929, the following operations were performed: insertion of a three-dimensional steel-reinforced structural frame to serve as columns and beams; insertion of a steel frame into the existing masonry walls. and steel frames into the existing masonry walls.
