Outline: The Department of General Architecture is the first of its kind in Shizuoka Prefecture. A commissioning team composed of third parties (faculty members of the Department of Architecture) prepared a planning and design requirements document (OPR), and a facility management method was adopted to verify that the plan was realized according to the OPR until the construction stage. The structure of the building is an inverted triangle, with the upper floors overhanging the lower floors, and a large space under the eaves that spans the second to fourth floors facing the courtyard is provided, while taking into consideration solar radiation shielding and lighting.
